How do the On-line Classes Work?

LS Coding & Education LLC’s Distance Learning Program assists individuals interested in becoming a Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
Distance learning allows you to learn medical coding from the comfort of your own home. The website is available 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

L S Coding & Education utilizes the Moodle Learning Management System to provide the online Program.

In the Moodle Environment Students will watch videos of the live classes that were recorded in Tucson, Arizona. The student has the benefit of watching a class where there were 25 students in attendance. The student feels as if they just came in and sat down in an actual classroom.

The student hears the lecture, the student’s questions and the instructor’s responses.

Students will have contact with the other students attending the course through chat forums as well as access to the instructor. This open dialogue is extremely helpful to all of the students and the instructor to assure that all of the students needs are met during the course.

Quizzes are taken on the Moodle site with immediate feedback.

All handouts and assignments are available in PDF format as the student requires them for use.

Instructions for how to proceed through each chapter are clear and concise.

All exams are taken on the Moodle site. Students can track their progress in the course and see their grades by clicking on grades in their Moodle area.
