Provides the “Licensed” AAPC Professional Medical Coding Curriculum for our Professional Medical Coding Programs.

Lynn Schoeler, CPC, COC, CPC-I has been coding and auditing for over 28 years, with an emphasis on Evaluation/Management Coding, auditing and Provider education.

Sharon Jones, CPC, COC, CPC-I has 30 years of medical insurance, compliance, coding and denials management experience.

LS Coding & Education offers a very unique and different distance learning experience. When you attend a LS Coding e-learning session it is as if you have walked in and sat down in an actual classroom.

Other schools offer an e-learning class which is typically just listening to a lecture and watching a PowerPoint presentation.

At LS Coding, you are watching an actual classroom, with students attending. You are able to see and hear the instructor and students during the class session.

Distance Learning

LS Coding & Education LLC’s distance learning program assists individuals interested in becoming an American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Coder Hospital Outpatient (COC).

Distance learning allows you to learn medical coding from the comfort of your own home. The website is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

The Professional Medical Coding Program has videos of the live class that was most recently recorded in our live classroom in Tucson, Arizona. Homework assignments, quizzes, and exams, are all available through the Moodle Distance Learning Site.

Exams are taken on the Moodle site, and students are able to track their progress on the site as well as view their grades as they progress. All handouts and assignments are available in PDF format on the Moodle Site. Textbooks are provided from the AAPC in print form from the publisher as part of the class.

All of our classes are available on-line throughout the year. You can enroll in and start any of the classes at anytime throughout the year.
